TGACC has twelve members representing the manufacturing and supplier sector, the advertising industry, consumers, healthcare professionals and government.

AANA - The Australian Association of National Advertisers represents the interests of major national advertisers and service providers, and its members are responsible for well over 80% of the money spent on advertising in Australia.

ACA - The Australian Consumers' Association represents and acts in consumers' interests, lobbying and campaigning on behalf of consumers to promote their rights, to influence government policy and to ensure consumer issues have a high profile in the public arena.

ADMA - The Australian Direct Marketing Association is dedicated to setting and maintaining industry standards. The Association provides education and information to its members and the wider community, thus supporting a responsible and knowledgable marketplace.

AFA - The role of the Advertising Federation of Australia is to represent the interests of advertising agencies and ensure that standards of creativity, and changing contemporary community standards, are understood in the implementation of the Therapeutic Goods Advertising Code.

ASMI - The Australian Self-Medication Industry, the peak industry body for the self-care industry, has as its mission the promotion of better health through responsible self-medication, ensuring that safe and effective selfcare products are readily available to all Australians at a reasonable cost.

CHF - The Consumers Health Forum of Australia Ltd was established in 1987 and is the peak organisation providing leadership in representing the interests of Australian health care consumers. It works to achieve safe, good quality, timely health care for all Australians, supported by the best health information and systems the country can afford. CHF nominates consumer representatives to the TGACC and its committees to provide a consumer perspective and a balance to the view of government, manufacturers, service providers and other health professionals.

CMA and CHC - The Complementary Healthcare Council (formerly known as the Nutritional Foods Association of Australia) is the professional organisation representing the overall Industry committed to enhancing the public health and wellbeing of the Australian public, through education and information on the use and benefits of Complementary Healthcare Products.

PGA - The Pharmacy Guild of Australia is chiefly concerned with issues affecting community pharmacists, particularly the areas of marketing, business management and industrial matters. (Jointly represented with PSA)

PSA - The Pharmaceutical Society of Australia represents and has advocacy for pharmacists from all areas of practice—community, hospital, industry, academia and in the government’s employ; its major roles include the establishment of standards and the provision of post-graduate education programs.
